It depends where you live, but there is momentum worldwide around ensuring dogs are tethered whilst driving. Beyond the safety of the dog itself, this also ensures they limit the distraction of drivers. In some countries such as the UK, driving with an unrestrained dog can lead to heavy fines.

Please only attach the seat belt to a dog wearing a harness. Dog harnesses will help eliminate the potential strain of the dog’s neck in the event of an accident.
